Help us keep the doors of government open.
The Pennsylvania Freedom of Information Coalition needs your help to preserve your right to receive and use public information — without high cost, without unnecessary delay, without bureaucratic paper work.
Your contribution helps us to open the doors of government in Pennsylvania. We assist individuals and groups to obtain public records. We work to strengthen laws that provide public records. We fight efforts to restrict public access to public records.
The coalition welcomes as members all individuals, neighborhood groups, community organizations, public service nonprofits, business, news media, educators and government officials who agree with our mission.
The Pennsylvania Freedom of Information Coalition is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Membership fees, as well as gifts or grants, are tax-deductible, as provided by law.
