Denied: A request for a 2007 Request for Proposal from the state Department of Public Welfare, which the DPW denied on the grounds that the records no longer existed.
The Office of Open Records confirmed that the documents requested do not exist, and acknowledged that the documents had been properly destroyed in accordance with the state's records retention schedule. (The open records law does not address how long records should be kept.)
