Denied: Labor & Industry appropriately responded to request

Granted in part and denied in part: A request for records related to the employment of statisticians by the Department of Labor & Industry.
From the Pennsylvania Freedom of Information Coalition

Granted in part and denied in part:
A request for records related to the employment of statisticians by the Department of Labor & Industry.

The department had provided the requester with a paper spreadsheet detailing the salary of each L&I employee, including employees with a statistics-related job title. The department told the requester it does not possess any job applications for these positions, which had been requested, but that the state Civil Service Commission may have them.

The Office of Open Records directed the department to provide the requester with an electronic copy of the salary spreadsheet it had provided on paper, which the requester requested, but otherwise the OOR found that the L&I had complied with the request or had attested that records being sought did not exist.
